Right i have been searching high and low for these things it will make my day if can get just one so im praying this one can be verified. its behind the co-op just off forge row in new farnley it has no head but i have it from a good source someone remembers this one working as a gas lamp. I was a bit cheesed to find someone had beat me too the ones on the playground oh well!

Not sure that's a gas lamp, looks a bit tall, might be a 'stench pipe' to vent gases from the sewer. They're quite rare. The gas lamp was probably where the concrete lamp-post is now.
