SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

West Park secondary modern girls school was very innovating with the wonderful headmistresses that was there when I was a pupil: Mrs Sugden. Does any one have any more information about the staff and pupils there?

Hi I attended WestPark when Mrs Sugden was headmistress. My form teacher was Mr Speak, he taught science. I was there until I left to go to Thomas Danby college in 1973 to study nursery nursing. I live in York now and sadly don't have contact with any former pupils.

Hi not sure if I remember you. What was your name? My name then was Janet Palmer. I did my training at Blenheim Lodge day nursery. After I qualified I moved to Hunslet Hall day nursery.
