Little bit of a tease for you all ......... Below are three opening lines from, well from what and what connects them with the city of Leeds?"Behold, the sea itself. And on its limitless heaving breast, the ships;..........""Thus spake Isaiah:Thy sons that thou shalt beget........... ""And did those feet in ancient time walk upon England’s mountains green......... "No prizes, other than a sense of smug satisfaction if you can sort it out!PS the third is the easiest to identify but the link with Leeds is the least obvious

LS1Spot on ........ trust you are feeling suitably smug! Was reminded of the VW's Sea Symphony premiere in the excellent and highly recommended Tony Palmer bio-pic of Vaughan Williams life, 'O thou transcendent' :http://www.amazon.co.uk/Thou-Transcende ... 00118DQX8I think VW also debuted his choral work, 'Toward the Unknown' region at the Town Hall
