I don't know the name of the building but it looks very much like the spire on this place here on Great George street.

Spot on Phill. Too easy I suppose. I just happened to be in the building with me box brownie, looked out of the window....and there it was.Is anybody going to come up with name of the building? And maybe why it's got that name?You can't see it on the aerial shot but they've got a little roof garden up there.

Good effort though Martin. It's worth a pic as it's something you wouldn't associate with the city. A bit regal looking i think.. Isn't it some educational building?

It was once a part of Thorseby Girls School. To the right the open space is the playground and then Central High School for boys on the corner of Woodhouse Lane and Great George Street.
