Uncle Mick yes it's Headingley. Those maps give a window on a long-vanished "village". I had to take 'Skyrack Oak' and St Michaels Church as reference points on this.We now know it as Wood Lane the continuation of North Lane cutting past the (now) Arndale Centre.http://binged.it/1fKB585Used to go straight down to that Mill 'Linseed & Flour' that was powered by the Meanwood Goit.Which links in to Phills infamous picture of Black Toms Goit or summat (it's all still under there).

The mill pond must have been expanded at a later date.
