I happened to spot this face carving when I was in the centre of Leeds today (June 25 2013) and thought it may do for a What & Where thread. It is a nice feature. As far as I'm aware it has not been used as W&W before, so apologies if it has.

The train buffs should be on to this one.But only if they are into what came after the age of steam.

Good cryptic clues Jogon and Cardiarms. I won't reveal the location just yet but it is clearly known to at least some (all?) of you.

OK, I think this 'Where' has run its course. Well known to some it is at the Diesel store on Vicar Lane, on the same side as and roughly between King Edward Street and the access/egress on Vicar Lane to the Victoria Quarter. The are 2 of the same face. Note also the 1902 date on the building.

This photo (taken June 25 2013) shows both of the face carvings and some of the shops frontages on Vicar Lane. I'm fairly sure (but by no means definite) that the dolphin carving is on the top high above the faces.
