Not a W/W, just a find out.Various old maps show this as the bridge over the Meanwood Goit http://goo.gl/maps/VuvP8Rather than the bridge over the Beck.view of remaining southside wall on Monk Bridge RdThe Goit cut off from the beck at the weir (still just visible) rear of Highbury Lane. Filled in long ago, the route the goit followed is now a path to Grove Lane (which itself does not appear on 1910 maps being later cut through).

Brunel, tamust be right, those monks would've been crossing the 'beck bridge' long before any meanwood goit?the old tithe map note just off target.
