Wow that is amazing stuff. I wonder who took that?It saddens me to think there is loads of old film of Leeds going to nothing in peoples homes. Some not knowing what it is and chucking it away!

Tis a shame LS1.Lot's of current hobby photographers may not recognise a roll of film and whether it's used just not developed etc.Even the late 70's Truprint generation will be in their 50's and a lot of good stuff will be lurking, binned, or end up in 'house clearance' when perch is fallen off Not sure how future longevity of images will work? ie stuff taken on your samsung phone etc or out there on flickr.

Some not knowing what it is and chucking it away! Just watching one of the guys other films, It's a Flying Scotsman railtour through Leeds to South Shields. The whole train, including women and children walk along the tracks and sidings, climb up ladders into clanking old open topped wagons, the wagons are loose fitted and they ride along with electric overhead wires a few feet above their head. The Health & Safety Police would have a fit today, you can get arrested for taking a photo on a station. How times have changed.
