I'd never noticed those stairs before until the other day looking on street view. I had noticed the large hardwood door frame below them here before.http://goo.gl/maps/0TkILI wonder if it was were beer was delivered to Chaplins bar?

Great map Mick. Number 17 lot on the corner was Chaplins bar, not sure when it closed but I recall still going in in the early 90's. I remember there being a way into the pub from inside the Merrion itself, but couldn't you get in from the street too? Sure you could, but looking at the street view it seems to show 2 smaller units nowhttp://goo.gl/maps/MeafUHas it always been like that? Or was it just one big unit that had the pub in, and this cleaner patch of cladding here be where a door used to be?http://goo.gl/maps/ZTqMgFunny how you forget how places used to look in time.

uncle mdo you have an 'at the time' map of Merrion & Odeon before they put the roof on? Blakey said inbound buses took the slip road left outside the Coburg then into the Merrion>right & down the ramp somewhere where Costa coffee is now.Leodis pic that I cannot understand / work out.
