A place in the country?Suffolk 1650?Or closer to home? (Not town centre).

Cad Beeston? It does look as though it should be in Lavenham or Long Melford!

Tasa yes.You mention Lavenham and some years ago Mrs J and I stayed at the Angel there. Low-key lovely.
