I think this one may be really easy but I'll try it anyway. I know I'll have to ban Tasa from answering this one So where in Leeds can this be seen?

There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

My pleasure, sometimes the most recognisable places look so different from a unique angle. I liked the amount of greenery once inside, it's like a little oasis within the city.

Sad to say but I'm another one that has never seen it (other than in photos). I like your overlap on the map Phill available through your larger photo of the bear pit. I'm now singing to myself the Bare Necessities song from Jungle Book!

Just found this What Where, took me a couple of mins to work out the what.As 20yr olds wandering by we thought it odd to just put a bear pit on Cardi Rd. It took me to 2011 to learn about the former Leeds Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Found good info here and some phill+ others flickr pics.http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messag ... readID=114
