Looks like the red brick of the Hotel Metropole.

It's the building at the junction of Cookridge Street and Great George Street. I think it's a council building but has in the past been used to film one of the films from the Beiderbecke trilogy.

The old Grammar School. It was finance and planning among other things ten years ago as I had to go there to register for council tax.

G4#t=1234s Maybe my memory is failing although I thought I remembered Jephcott in the 'what & where' building.Maybe it was a 'Frost' episode.It could be a good excuse to watch all the Beiderbeckes on YouTube.
