I'm struggling with this one a bit, reading your cryptic clues is harder than the making sense of the enigma machine The amazing Jogon keyboad machine!

I think the brodrick building referred to is Headingley Hill Congregational Church, something else now, on Headingley Lane opposite the girls school. Doesn't get me any further with the 1902 though. Devious.

The way I read it is one of Brodricks lesser known buildings in the centre of Leeds, which in my mind would have to be 49-51 Cookridge Street??http://www.victorianweb.org/art/archite ... k/4.htmlSo using that route out of Leeds from Cookridge Street you'd use Headingley Lane and Otley Road into Headingley, the place Jogon says is within a mile radius of Hinsley Hall. That's how I read it anyway, although I've already said it is all rather cryptic but makes a good puzzle anyway
