Following my Skylarking guess where I thought it would be good to try guess where this happy looking stick man can be spotted around Leeds.Rather than cut the tree down the builders have decided to wall it in and make it a permanent feature, by the looks of the wall he's been there some considerable time I have a few more photos like this herehttp://

Easy! It's just down the street from where Mike Purrett lived two years ago.

Fun photo Phill. I almost missed the smiling face on the tree! Over the years I've seen many fascinating growths of trees round, over and sometimes even through things like walls, etc. Next to Adel Crag there is what remains of a tree that once grew around a large boulder. Sadly that tree has been burnt at some stage (I suspect deliberately) and now only some cut down parts remain that surround the boulder.

Duly edited. Now you will have to edit your response. And I thought you said the hard part was to find out where Mike lived. The tree is embedded in a coalhouse near there.

Mmm...I've had a quick runaround StreetView but no luck. Think it might need a stroll around the leafy lanes in the Cardigan Road environs to locate the coalhouse in question.Maybe it's an outhouse for one of the Victorian properties round there. It's been a bit of fun though.
