Nice piece of work here. I'm assuming it's a George & Dragon scene but don't know it's pedigree. Looks to me as though there was originally a long two-handed spear that's damaged/gone.Best to 'full screen' it.

This is the old Headingley Parochial Institute on Bennett Road. It was built by George Corson (of Municipal Buildings fame) in 1877.Makes a change for me to get one of these right! Were you on your way to the Ed O'Donnell Band night?

I don't know (no surprise there then! ). I wonder if it could be on the ABTech House on Park Row (on the right coming from City Square getting towards the Headrow junction) as that building has some superb carvings.Edit moments after posting. I must type faster as Tasa gave the answer seconds before I posted! I was wrong, as I expected.

Just after finding the site on Google Street View (GSV) I wandered around the GSV in the area and was amused by a nearby scene that should be brought up through this link:- http://www.google.com/maps?q=BENNETT+RO ... 1,,1,6.52I hope the traffic does keep clear and none comes off the main road (A660?) fast!
