Looking up and so noticing the 1873 date I took this photo on October 28 2011. Any guesses where it is?The brickwork does look clean so I wonder if it has been cleaned fairly recently. I also wonder if the date stone has been renewed, as the date is very sharp and not weathered looking that I would expect it to be if it was the original. Even if they have I still think it is of interest. I have looked through all of the posts in the 'What & Where?' and this view has not been asked before.

Is it a church, or a chapel? Make it a little easier seen as no ones had a go yet.

Somehow it retained it's original ironwork at pavement level.
