Guessing from the angle & distance on Bridgewater Place, seems like it'd be from around Cross Green or Temple Newsam

I thought it might be Woodlesford / Methley - the oil storage tanks look similar to the ones on Fleet Lane, but I'm struggling to place the high-rise building in the front centre of the pic.

Its definitely well out east to have that much open space beyond the"high rise" to Leeds. Its also a strange mix of industrial and residential (terraces?)Trying to spot pylons on Google Earth is a nightmare. There is one set that crosses Swillington in the general direction of Knowsthrope and is that possibly a bend in the canal or river to the right of the pylon it certainly looks like water.

The taller building looks like the back of Rowntrees Kit Kat factory.I'm a little surprised that I could not see any sign of The Jungle, or Hicksons.
