Thanks Phill. Note how your pic of the coat of arms has the king's crown. Thanks for the pics, Tilly. We went to the Bradford Industrial Museum at Idle the other week, and are planning a visit to Armley soon.PS Still working out the best time for the Cockersdale visit. Need to work around holiday dates etc.

Yes, I've always been very fond of the Abbey Museum. When the kids were younger, they were fascinated by the tiger rug in one of the buildings in the reconstructed Victorian street.

Tilly and Phill, thanks for the photos. I've never been to Armley Industrial Museum, but must get along there as it looks fascinating!

My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

Cycled through Armley Mills yesterday.Fave way to approach it is round the back of the cinema place which looks unpromising but the bridge over takes you into another world. The 'island' is a birdwatchers haven.
