Yes, it is taken from the north corner perimeter wall (purpose built) "Viewing Platform" of Holbeck Cemetery.Domestic St>Cemetery Rd> then right up Fairfax Rd, parked at top. Thru gate, short walk (2mins) right.I took a series of photos full right to left of whole panorama of Leeds. I tried windows live photo gallery and it morphed the series into one (very detailed) photo. V clever, when I view it it is a tiny thin strip but as i magnify it comes real size to view parts but not whole.I don't know how to put it here, or anywhere else as it is big. At far left is trees + bit of Elland Rd stadium, finishing far right with the church on Bank and a white tower block past there [see pic]

Bit of a nightmare last night. Not at my best after a day - and evening - out in Keighley of all places. Can't even work out my own ramblings on giving my postings the once over this morning. What I was trying to say is that Holbeck Cemetery is in Beeston. I tried to post a link to Tony Harrison's poem 'V'. When you click on the link in my post I see that the Wikipedia page for the letter V appears. Not my intention. I had faithfully copied and pasted the web address from the correct page. Harrison's parents are buried in the cemetery.Maybe they called it Holbeck Cemetery because there was already a Beeston Cemetery, which is of course further along Beeston Road. Having said that I don't know which came first. The start of more debate perhaps?
