I don't know where this snake is nor the snakes in the other image. Sadly it's not a photo of that wooden snake slide!

Wortley Rec has some benches with the snake legs - must have bought a lot at the time - wonder what date they are - certainly there since the early 60's - suspect much earlier than this.

The intreguing thing about the photo is that the paintwork is fairly new. It could be in someone's garden.

The dragon paintwork?Your correct, it is new paint and in someone's garden, although it can be seen from the street as you pass, that's how I saw it. I know plenty of S.L people have been around the area, and we've had a few topics posted around the place on S.L in the past.
