My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

[quotenick="Jogon"]That's great, pic dated by bus dated by livery. You know you're getting old when old buses ie 1974 look modern I know I'm getting old when I finally recognise a 'What & Where' as I've not lived in Leeds for nearly 40 years. I keep looking at the new threads when they are posted; maybe one day I'll recognise one.

Another LEODIS photo dated early 1975 which shows that Westgate Roundabout was a recent, rather than distant memory at that time. The picture also features - as does the FLICKR cine film in Phill D's post - the City Treasury building in the background. When this was vacated so that demolition could begin, it was the location of an occupation/sit-in (*) by a group of students/hippies/anarchists (*) which lasted several days. I can't remember what they were protesting about but think this might have been around 1984ish.(*) delete as appropriate
