Built in 1964 and already Grade II listed.Don't know how this compares in age with other structures on the 'list'.Full details of water tank etc on listed building definition on t'internet.

Urban myth (wrongly) states that the building design was modelled on a Swedish women's prison! Must have been easy to escape from, if so

Correct. An interesting building constructed 'over the wall' of the graveyard - the final resting place of Mr John Atkinson Grimshaw.
