I don't know but hope someone can help. She stands atop the building opposite The Wrens Hotel on New Briggate which is now home to 'Skylord Travel'. Any ideas?

Farnleybloke's right, it has appeared before. I've had a quick trawl through What & Wheres, but I can't find it either! However, I remember someone saying it was Queen Victoria.

This is indeed Queen Victoria, and the statue was palced there in 1837 when she aceded to the throne. I did post on a thread about this a while ago and there is more information on there about it.Have a look here...http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messag ... ighLight=1

Cheers guys, problem solved. The Wrens regulars refer to her as The Mighty Skylord! Goddess of cheap travel and last minute flights.
