I really should watch where I'm going instead of gazing up at stuff. This is Leeds Centre, street viewable and up above street level. What where and bonus points for all those coats of arms.

Obviously somewhere with a Yorkshire theme (bank/building society etc)The Coats of arms are, in order:SheffieldHuddersfieldWakefieldLeedsYorkHalifaxBradfordHull.
there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

Good one Jogon and well done Mork of Ork. I didn't know it but I should have, as I'm occasionally in the area. To me the building will always be recalled as part of the long closed down Gaumont cinema.

Many thanks Leodian!I have to admit it did look familiar but I had to resort to trawling Google maps north of The Headrow for stone buildings that have always been leisure based. To me it will always be the Town & Country Club, where I went to see the Oasis tribute band No Way Sis as a teen.

Well done MorkBorn 1960, I'm sure I remember swimming at "Cookridge St Baths" but can't recall just where they were.
