Isn't that a red Leyland-National (aircon top back) West Yorkshire bus at rear (station Vicar Lane) before sale to Ogdens Investments.

Inward end of Roundhay Road, looking towards Sheepscar Library? (wild guess!)

I can't even hazard a guess as to the location - its got me baffled - but the destination blind on the bus seems to say "Dewsbury Road." If this is the case the Leyland National could belong to Yorkshire Woollen or West Riding, both of whom had Mark 1 Nationals and routes leaving Leeds in this direction.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.

It is Dewsbury road the grass banking on the right is the spoil ,used to make the boundry, from the building of the then new but now demolished Arthur Greenwood middle school, roughly where the Green man pub stood. The houses in the background are the Lindens, the advertisement hordings are next to the ginnel that runs past the bottom of the brickfield near St Francis Catholic School. Which particular film was it ,any chance of a link? EDIT found the film "Truants trail"http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MYbHdlB ... relmfuTime mark 12:59 for the scene the still is from.
