Hi all,Can anyone remember way back in the 70s a whale on the back of a wagon tha was displayed in Leeds city crntre.I used to have a postcard of it.Just wondered if anyone else has one.It would be interesting to see it.I remember they had nicknamed the whale,Jonah!PS Sorry to Mork,started this on wrong forum,

I remember this being talked about on the radio a while ago - I thought it was earlier than the 70s though.The whale was dead incidentally, and toured the country as a sort of travelling show. I think there might even have been more than one.

I asked the same question back in September - "A Whale in Leeds ???", but mine was earlier. Use the search facility and just type in whale. Its true apparently. Check the address left there by JanC.Merry Christmas everyone.

No its def early 70s or maybe late 60scos I am not that old and I was talking about it to my mum on Saturday and she remembers taking us to see it!
