For me it must be 30+ years.
But,
A guy came round canvassing at the weekend and we are
going to have milk delivered twice a week starting this week.
So less, humping it from the Asda!
When did you last have milk delivered at home ?

I never stopped having milk delivered to the doorstep. I do live in a rural Cheshire surrounded by dairy farms tho.
It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!

Must be about 25 years since last had a milkman doing door step deliveries, he retired and then couldn’t find one for the area I lived in so started getting milk from the supermarket, I’m moving to another part of Leeds soon so I’m hoping to find one who might do home deliveries then

Hi
About 5 hours ago, there's always one smarty pants!
We moved from supermarket milk during covid, amongst other things, to support a local business. We have continued with the delivery for the same reason and because I like a glass bottle and milk on the doorstep' and he's never let us down. Its more expensive but in the scheme of things so what.
