Yorkshire Switchgear Factory in Meanwood

Post by m100 »

Does anyone know exactly where the Yorkshire Switchgear factory in Meanwood was located, presumably it was on Meanwood Road but where, and what is there now?

It was next door to the Cricket Club, passed it many times on the 52/53 service. It now has housing built on the original site.

Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?
