Some years ago the arty lobby got a pretty ugly "statue" placed in Birmingham . Resembling Communistic art it was disliked my most normal people.

Fortunately, this being a modern "statue", it was made in plastic, so burnt very well :)

At least the artist cast those shapes so it is an original piece of artwork. It fits right in with the brutalist concrete architecture of the 60s.
By the way, the bugs bunny cut out is not part of the design and must have been added by a wag.
It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!
