Following our Library visit we've had some really positive comments about the restoration & presentation. There's a great article 'The library gets an unofficial makeover' herehttp://kimgrantmosaics.wordpress.com/2007/10/16/323/You can leave your comments & sentiments underneath. It would be great to get as much feedback as possible on this one! Cheers!

Is there an official route into the council/planning authorities/etc for this sort of building, to register a comment at least about it being wasted.Would a local MP be interested, or would it have to be the MP for the area that the building stood in? People often say "someone should do/say something" - I'm just wondering what the best method of at least strating that process would be...

Hi Squatch. An initial reaction from Leodis was they want to use some of our stuff on there site.. They have the old clock from the library hanging up in there offices at Central Library. I'm doing a detailed report with, history of the library, archive pics, then & now stuff with the video on the L.H.E.S blog site, they can link to that.. It gets the place in the public eye again.. I'm sure something positive will come out of it!
