Did anyone ever go to silverdale?

I went twice when i was a pre teen.

I remember lining up outside the civic hall waiting for the coach to come to whisk us away on our sea side trip.

There is quite lot about both Silverdale and Langbarr Camp around here somewhere.

Sadly, as a result of the now long-running problems with the Secret Leeds site, some of the photos in that thread are poor quality.
