Heaps, Arnold and Heaps
I have learned that a relative of mine used to work at HAH lead works in the distant past. They had a site on Meadow Road (some photos on Leodis) but after many years they moved out of Leeds in the late 80s/early 90s. I can vaguely recall the building but can anyone provide any further info please?

Hi jdbythesea.
Don't know much about HAH leadworks, but i know its a well dodgy occupation to be in.I have worked on many listed buildings around yorkshire forming box and parapet gutter to support the leadwork. The leadworkers have to be monitored periodically by blood test to test for high levels of lead in there blood. And i can say with confidence that every leadworker l have ever met has brain damage in someway.

They say i have no talent and that I'm difficult to work with. And they say it as if its a bad thing
