Does anyone remember the small terrace house on the junction opposite Wortley Police station in the 1970s. it had a tiny garden but was full of Railway memorabilia, there were train names, station names and even railway signals which reached up to the bedrooms. wonder if anyone had a picture of it.

I'm sure I recognise that ornamental chimney pot. Mine was nicked by gypsy's about 5 years ago.

Police were looking for a man wearing an ear ring, carrying a crystal ball and a very long ladder !!1.

Wow, I'd forgotten all about that garden, but I remember it very well now I've seen the picture. It was a fascinating sight and I'd love to have had a good look round it, with the owner to comment on all the artifacts.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
