A lovely night sky scene (Feb 21 2015).

For those who are interested and like to see such things there is currently (18:35) a lovely night scene in about the west with a crescent Moon and below and right of it a very bright Venus. You may need to let your eyes adjust a bit to see it but almost touching Venus at about its 1 o'clock is a faint Mars. The bright object high in about the east is Jupiter. Venus and Mars will be visible for a short while before they go below the horizon but they will be close for some days yet. It's worth a pop out to look, but be quick!

Edit added just after 19:00. Being a bit darker sky I've just gone out hoping that Mars would be more obvious but there were clouds spoiling the view, Just typical!
