A story just popped up about Secret Leeds from my Google Alerts (they ping me an email any time a new reference to 'Secret Leeds' appears in Google's listings). I can only assume from the headline and the obvious tunnel entrance in the picture that this is the work of some SL site members

That thing definitely comes out somewhere near Kirkstall Abbey. Or City Square, one or t'other.

I wonder which former engineering works this 'pot' factory was located in, my best guess would be the old Case Tractors factory just off Town Street / Grangefield Road as I think a large part of that was derelict. These 'farms' seem to be popping up all over Leeds, only a few weeks ago police raided a house at the top of Fillingfir Drive in LS16 which had been turned entirely into a cannabis 'farm', the place was usually let out to students and had been for years. Clearly the landlord made a mistake in letting the property out to his most recent tenants. The property went up for sale this week so it appears like whoever the landlord is has had enough - or perhaps he is in jail..?
