I wonder if that is the official address of Leeds City Station car park?

According to railtrack: Leeds Station, Leeds LS1 4DYIs it Wetherspoons/Drop off/pick-up zone?Does City Square have a postcode?    

Bars on city sq / old P.O. =LS1 2AN As pointed out, could be Aire St 'inherits' or is nearest real place to bad postcode.A lot of 'human traffic' moving that way / trains etc.? Don't know how to find, but somewhere have found a detailed postcode map split down beyond LS1 and covering the 2AN etc.Ask a postie..

LS1 4HR comes up as Whitehall QuayLS1 4HT covers all Aire StreetLS1 4AS is the Rail OfficesSo its not really Aire Street but the new complex off Aire Street/Whitehall Road. Seeing as that is known as the Financial District they will all be classed as robbing Fat Cats.

I suspect that this has something to do with it - next to the railway station, lots of long stay parking in and around the area, constantly moving human population which is highly transient and many of which will be carrying expensive electrical goods and are strangers to the area, etc.Therefore lots of crimes are likely to get recorded under the one location that is easily identifiable in the area. If you read the newspaper article, the top site on this list (Meridian Square, Stratford) is actually a public concourse between the Westfield shopping centre, Stratford underground station and Stratford bus interchange.Regular readers of the YEP might recall a well known bar on Boar Lane appealing against intended licensing restrictions due to a high number of police incidents in the area by claiming that their location was given as it was easily identifable but most of the incidents actually occurred in the street near there....

I've walked up and down Aire Street almost every working day for the last ten years, I park my car at Whitehall Quay and walk it often on a weekend. I used to get the 219 to Gildersome from there every day I was at St Michaels, and I have NEVER seen a single crime comitted there.

LS28 6QB, Bradford Road Pudsey is actually Bradford Road Stanningley according to Google Maps and is on the stretch of road between New Street Farsley and the Green Flag roundabout. I can't imagine how 69 incidents of criminal damage have been reported there unless somewhere gets its windows broken a lot or something. It's practically opposite Pudsey Police Station. EDIT: hang on, that's from the Daily Mail, it could be anything.EDIT EDIT: I wonder if it's the Civic car park and around there. Wouldn't surprise me if someone targets Lloyds staff for break-ins.

You have to ask yourself which are the crimes that are of most concern to you.I notice the vast majority are petty property crimes, no surprise given the source.For myself, I would be most concerned about violence, burglary and possibly drug crime.Lets see how the geographic deals with tax avoidance - I'll bet that would be interesting.

New pudsey Train Station?I suspect the computer requires a post-code and in the absence of one when an incident is reported, the station uses the road outside as the default.
