Hey all,What are some of your stories about playing out as a child in Leeds? We want to hear your stories of playing out in Leeds as part of a project bringing together the tales of growing up in the local area to share on a website launching in May 2013.'Playing Out' is all about sharing your stories of grazed knees, playground scuffles and adventures in the woods. You can share your stories with just text or we'd love it if there are any images, audio or video to go with your stories. Also as part of the project we're wanting to find out more about our own history in Armley, where our charity Interplay has been based since starting in 1970. If you have any knowledge of Interplay or stories from growing up that you could add then please post them here or you can contact us via our website here:http://www.interplayleeds.co.uk/playingoutIf you have any posts where you've previously written stories if you could just provide a quick link and give permission to use your story that would be great.Interplay are a publicly funded charity based in Leeds, we believe everybody has a story to tell and work across different art forms to enable us to do this. For more information on our organisation and work in Leeds check our site.http://www.interplayleeds.co.ukThanks,Interplay

Thanks Uncle Mick! Apologies to start a new thread as I'm aware there are similar ones already, main purpose is needing permissions from each user so figured this would be the best method to get those, raise awareness of the project and collect some new stories. Will be posting in some of the current threads to ask if users mind their current stories in posts being shared on our site.

I will contact the site admins about this.Interplay are a publicly funded charity based in Leeds, we work in many different areas of the arts and communities to engage people in telling their stories. All our information concerning funding is available publicly via the charities commission.

Hi I can verify for Interplay, as both my elder two boys attend there sessions on Tues and Thursdays, and find to be great that people can learn new things aswell as develop skills in areas they enjoy doingI think this is a great new project - ive already submitted a post to yourselves. I dont think Interplay wanted to copy old threads and peoples memories that had been posted here, but by yourselves adding to there link submitting your own memories or passing it on to people who may be interested.
