I just wanted to make anyone with any sympathy for our City's footy club aware, that there is a "Save our Club" flower and shirt protest on going, around Billy Bremner's memorial statue at Elland Road.Started yesterday and is to draw media attention to the fact that our city will not have a football club, if a settlement between the Football League and the current incompetents on the United board isn't reached VERY soon. My plea is this - if you have any affilliation with Leeds United, or find the idea of a major city like Leeds without a football club abhorrent..then PLEASE get down to the ground and lay a simple bunch of white roses, to show your support.Calendar have been filming there today, so you will probably see it on telly this week. This was the scene at 6pm today (sunday):Many fans are away on holiday, so it's starting slow...but all support gratefully appreciated. This is a show of solidarity and many other club's fans have also sent flowers in support. Thanks for your time and hopefully your support.SAVE OUR FOOTBALL CLUB!

To Drapesy and Stevie....other protests to the FL and to the incompetent KPMG adminstrators are under way. But THIS protest is a declaration of Leeds Fans Solidarity. A message to the world that one of the biggest football clubs in English history will soon cease to exist, if this stalemate is continued...To get the so far APATHETIC media publicising our plight...If Leeds United dies, that will be yet another part of Leed's history and heritage gone...SAVE OUR CLUB!

Just want to add the following, from the Leeds United Supporters Trust:Flowers in the Rain - Flower Power Revival ProtestA spontaneous grass roots initiative is under way by Leeds United Fans.White, yellow, and blue flowers are being laid around the Billy Bremnerstatue at Elland Road football stadium together with football shirts andmessages appealing for the club to be saved. This summer is the 40thanniversary of the summer of love and the original flower power movementwhich was also the time that the great Revie -Bremner Leeds United team wasbecoming a major force in European Football. The Leeds United Supporters Trust is offering to assist fans who cannot personally visit Bremner corner by accepting and signing for deliveries of flowers on their behalf and ensuring that they are added to the joint efforts of the fans. Contact the Trust via their website to make arrangements www.lufctrust.org and the Trust will ensure that your flowers are added to the display around Billys statue. The Supporters Club and the Ultras will lend a hand with providing this service for fans living away from Leeds or who cannot personally deliver flowers. Soz - can't seem to get html to work for a direct link - CRAP board this is!

Are you a florist? It is extremely sad what is happening and unfortunately Bates thinks he can do as he pleases and a few people have stood up to him causing Leeds United to be brough to the brink of extiction.Bates needs to be banned as a director (as does Mark Taylor) under existing insolvency law being a director of the previous company and the club should be resold to either Redbus/Morris or Adam Pearson once the season ticket money bag has been found.

Reggie - it's the SILENCE coming out of the club and FL that is freaking me and most Leeds fanatics out. WHEN did you ever hear of bates being quiet? The parties concerned need pressure from the media and that is what we are trying to do with this demonstration.KPMG say they acted legally, the FL says no comment and bates says NOTHING.As for L.C.C. - their apathy speaks VOLUMES.... Especially as the cities' "boom" this century was in no small way due to the success of its footy club in Europe, in 2000 and 2001 The demo is getting bigger! Here's my mate Rob's "washing line" contribution, added today!SAVE OUR CLUB!!
