Elsworth Terrace, Armley - then and now

Hi all.After 4 days in Jimmy's from birth, I lived on Elsworth Terrace until I was 4 years old, leaving in 1968 for pastures Miggy.Wonderful to see my old house on Leodis, and the photo stands proudly by my bed.On the Leodis sitehttp://www.leodis.net/display.aspx?resourceIde ... 5_35169619 (I am MiggyExile - always have been, always will be) I wrote that I believed the street was demolished in 1970 - I now know it was later - ca. 1975, I remember biking out there from Miggy in that year and seeing a levelled area.On this thread:http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messag ... ID=2418"My" Elsworth Terrace is how it should be. But looking on Google maps, an impostor has risen. My street seems now to be a football pitch, and the new Elsworth Terrace isn't a particularly good match with respect to old location.Can anyone enlighten me as to when the impostor arose? Dates, why/how etc?Ta very much.
