Could Park & Ride using the frequent 'Brown Line' No1 Holt Park > Beeston BusThey're every 10 mins, a good service that drops off Park Row near City Square. You could pick it up from either end tho' Beeston praps closer.http://www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/leeds/j ... &source=sp

As you are at Carlton another park and ride option is the 110 Kettlethorpe - Leeds Bus Station (mainly via the A61) This is Arriva's flagship service from its Wakefield (Belle Vue) depot and as such usually has its most modern buses running every 10 minutes and Robin Hood is only 15 minutes from the bus station. There is the 446 (?) service that runs through Carlton itself and runs to King Street via Leeds Station but this is less frequent and operated by some of the oldest buses in the Arriva fleet. It also has a much longer route into Leeds via Rothwell and Wood Lane and actually takes 10 minutes just from Crown Point Bridge to City Square.

The only concerns I'd have with parking at Woodlesford is the infrequent and often unreliable rail service to get you from there to Leeds and vice versaWhy not park at the White Rose Shopping Centre, then get one of Worst's "every 10 minutes" buses down Dewsbury Road into Leeds? Relatively secure parking and easy to reach from the motorway, the bus ride isn't too long and you don't have to time your return to match an hourly train service. The small bus station at the White Rose is reached through the lower floor of Debenhams.

Be sure that there is no time limit on parking at White Rose or you could end up with a fine or clamped. I'm not sure if it's a timed area or not? Outwood Station is good or parking, always plenty of it and the trains are generally reliable. There might be a bus from outside your hotel or guest house in Carlton.
Is it me or has Leeds gone mad
