The Yorkshire Evening Post (YEP) today (May 7 2012) has a feature titled '30 things you (probably) didn't know about Leeds' on pages 16-17. It is interesting. I wonder how much Secret Leeds gave the YEP the idea for the feature? On page 22 there is a report titled 'Secret history of the city to be revealed' which is about a series of walks led "by guardians of the city's historic architecture, the Civic Trust".On page 25 it is reported that the Whitelocks pub has a new owner, having being bought by Whitelocks Ale House Limited.

Is there a link on the Y.E.P website, or can someone scan a copy and put it on S.L for us to see?

There doesn't seem to be much in the article that a regular S.L. user wouldn't already be aware of, but page 22 has a wonderful colour-tinted 1909 picture of City Square with the best view of the old Queens Hotel I have come across.

Typically this type of feature in the YEP (which has several errors I won't go into now...) will either appear on the website in a few days, or never appear at all.

Thanks for the link, although it wasn't really amazing was it? It was a tough call between that and the live kitten cam
