Not sure if many Secret Leedsers have noticed but there appears to be someone graffitying several billboards across Leeds - Mainly in the Meanwood area. I think the ones that got attacked were those advertising the Channel 4 Documentary - Big Fat Gypsy Weddings. The one down Meanwood today says "More Racist". Going past you wouldn't immediately know as it looks part of the billboard! I think it was the same person who graffitied the Tory billboard signs during the last General Election (I remember one being reworded cleverly up Scott Hall Road!).

I saw the graffitied advert near the BMW car saleroom near Sheepscar junction on Friday but when I passed this afternoon there was a new advert up.

From the 80's I remember a doctored bill board at hyde park corner. The advert featured a central/south american teenager with a ghetto blaster looking at some tyre tracks. The strap line said:"He only knows three words in English: Boy, George and Uniroyal"This was doctored to:"He only knows three words in English: Go, home and Yankee"
