The photo (taken November 29 2011) shows an intriguing mural above the Betfred betting shop at the junction of Bond Street and Lower Basinghall Street. The wording on the mural is "Wedgwood Worcester Minton Doulton" so it is a pottery themed mural. I've never noticed it before despite it being obvious! I wonder how long it has been there and why a pottery theme with firms that, as far as I know, are not Leeds related?

If you use the search function and put in "Bond Street" and then work your way down you will find a thread called something like - Building on the corner of Bond Street. This well documents your photographs. Link added to the thread PJ notes:

Thanks PJ. Contrary to what you seem to be implying I did however do a search, though for 'mural' not for 'Bond Street' as I thought the latter would bring up far too many results. http://www.secretleeds.co.uk/forum/Mess ... ighLight=1 Secret Leeds search is a wondrous even if alas, not a wonderful thing and certainly not the most specific of tools - it certainly helps if you have an inclin of what might have gone before, which newer users may not possess. It does not anticipate or accommodate miss spelled words and I've known it be pedantic over the singular and plural forms and be case sensitive.More over, many threads drift as we know onto other subjects, starting with two or three key words and first searching 'Threads' can be fruitful - though choose them well, obvious choices may not be in the title and threads with long titles and those containing frequently used words will produce irrelevant hits (annoyingly containing nothing related to your search!) If that fails then add content to the search, particularly if the subject could be hidden in an unlikely thread. Then all that remains is to look at each of the pages . Using the browser edit facility to quickly search a page for a key word speeds that up - a little. Happy hunting
