Does anyone know what the planned roadworks starting 3rd October will entail?I am hoping that they are widening the road to be 2 lanes all the way to the Ledgard Road lights as it creates a nasty bottleneck on a morning at the point that it goes from 2 lanes to 1.I'm not looking forward to the 4 weeks that roadworks will be there though!

LCC describe it as KFC works Kerb, footway, carriageway.
http://www.leeds.gov.uk/page.aspx?pagei ... &siteID=1I would have thought dualing it would take much more than 4 weeks so I assume they are just replacing the kerbs which will result in repairs to the immediate (close to) footpath and road surface

Metro also produce a document for bus disruptions but the one on their site currently only covers works commencing or ongoing through the period 22Sep - 2Oct

I don't know if you have seen it but it's right next to Charlie Cake Park going towards the Traveller's Rest.
http://g.co/maps/5amjaThat's the pothole I mean, it now has a speedbump approx where the double yellows start, yet the pot hole remains!
