Some new chessboards have been put on the paved area as part of the recent alterations to Victoria Gardens in front of the Central Reference Library in Leeds. I have added a photo I took today of one of them that has letters on it. The letters seem to read "The Citys a stone book". If it does I don't though know what it means!PS. If it is Citys then that should be City's, but I'll let off who did it.

Hi Leodian, that's interesting. I know these links are about Kirkgate but I wonder if it's a similar thing:http://www.leeds.gov.uk/page.aspx?pagei ... stmHaven't had time to have a look yet
