Eek, if that's what the 'real' Leeds is like, I'll stick to the secret version!

A brilliant opportunity to put Leeds on the map and show the southerners what a great city we have here.Lets not knock it before it's even been set in motion. This will give the under 30's a once in a lifetime experienceResearch with groups inside and outside of Leeds reveals the resoundingly positive feeling people have for the city. People who have experienced Leeds – whether it was for hours, days or years – invariably love the place, and in turn are its natural ambassadors. All who experience Leeds – its diversity, lifestyle, warmth, people and quality of life, share the same belief: if you spend time in the city, you'll grow to love it.

If it's anything like Geordie Shores, all it will do is make a laughing stock of all involved.I'm staying well clear..

Is Leeds Lad on acid? Does he really think the programme makers are interested in the history of Leeds town Hall? Will this series spend time exploring the tunnels under city station? Will the directors camera dwell lovingly on Holy Trinity church? Of course not.Like all these depressing programmes the makers are only interested in the vacuous, self obsessed wannabes who don't care how ridiculous they look as long as they are centre of attention, staggering out of rubbish nightclubs and bars, fretting over their next spray tan.. All of them a disgrace to a once proud, vibrant, creative working class. Boycott this rubbish. It can only do our city harm.

Get a life Franco and read my post properly. When was the last time you were in a rubbish nightclub or bar?Leeds is a vibrant city and the majority of it's resident are proud of the city. You say boycott this rubbish it can only do the city harm. What utter claptrap. This great city was tarnished by people from Beeston and Burley on 7th July 2005Unfortunately a lot of people want to see reality TV,why do you think it's all over the telly every week, somebody must be watching it.I know it's not everyones cup of tea but that's life.If and when the programme goes out don't watch it Franco then you'll have nowt to moan about. I will be watching out for it just in case i know anyone and even better if they're puking all over the place.Bring it on.

Our city is built on more than bars and night clubs, they are good to have but are not the yardstick that you should judge your city by.As you say there are lots of people who want reality TV,that means there are lots of people with no lives of their own and must feed off the fabricated rubbish such as Geordie Bores to somehow enhance their vaccuous lives.By the way,it was the 7th July 2005 bombings to which you refer, have no way tarnished this city ,only the reputation of decent Muslims, who in the vast majority do not hold the stupid extremist views that drove these misguided and sick individuals.I think you had better go down Call Lane ,get drunk on shorts and throw up outside a kebab shop.Done that all myself in the past but without any pretention that its somehwow fashionable and will make people in the south take up notice. There are better ways of judging a citys value and standing
