I am wondering if anyone knows anything about a headstone (see the photo taken March 29 2011) and the person named on that? Walk up the track from the Holbeck Gate entry (on the A660) of Danefield Estate to where it soon meets another track. Turn to the right and after crossing a stream you come across the site where there used to be some buildings a couple or more years back. The headstone is there. I do not recall seeing it when I was last there in April 2010 so it would seem to have been placed since then. Some of the wording is hard to read but it seems to state "In Loving Memory Of Joseph Water(house?) Who Fell Asleep Oct 8th 1901 Aged (something 7) Years”. I assume there is no grave beneath the headstone. Edit added around 19:38. When I sent in this post the photo did not go through so I sent it again and the photo did go through. Unfortunately the repost with the photo seems to have now been deleted in error. I shall try again to post it with the photo.
