Just been along the Gelderd road near Gildersome - loads of new speed camera signs - I assume the cameras will follow. Wonder if it will get as many cameras as the A65 in Rawdon! Spotted numerous signs - mind you the snow slowed everyone down below 30 today!

I wish that they would get the roads surface condition and quality sorted first before they put these waste-of-money cameras up. They have enough money to put thousands of pounds worth of speed cameras up but not to repair back-breaking potholes in the road? I don't mind paying loads of fuel duty or my road tax, but I'd like to see the Highways Agency repairing leeds' road and doing their part!!!!! :@

http://www.leeds.gov.uk/page.aspx?cache ... c5ff8dSHOW ALL WORKS I think the point tilly was making here was, as I think you've agreed before, is that all too often, the repairs can be little more than a temporary fix rather than a full blown rebuild of the affected area. Having said that, I've recently endured 3 weeks diversion ehilst the nearby distributor road received attention bi=ut, in the end the result is worth it

We are haveing a big problem in Pudsey at the moment road works in Lowtown. At least they have dug down to two feet in parts but i must say i have lived in Pudsey over thirty years and have never seen the roads in such a bad condition. This goes for many other parts of Leeds.
