I just found out that as part of cutbacks,The Royal Armouries plan to sack all their actors who interpret history and close the tiltyard turning it into a childrens playground. The exisiting actors are being allowed to do a final show on March 13th and are planning to protest the decision then.anyone who wants to go along in support is welcome. This is yet another attraction in Leeds being butchered by managers with no idea of what might attract people in!it will be interesting to see if the YEP ever mention this<G>.

Thanks, doesn't mention that they are proposing to sack all the re-enactors from 31st March thus losing the best way of communicating the story of the exhibits!
