How loud was the Leeds Festival?

I could hear Guns and Roses from our house almost as clear as day last night, despite living about 5 miles as the crow flies from the venue.How loud were they then? I reckon they must have had it turned all the way up to 11

Louder than ever this year - wonder if that's scope for a widening of the organiser's tolerance sweeteners

The weather probably contributed too, but I could usually hear it in Yeadon when I lived there.

Much quieter Sat / Sun nights, presumably due to the gentle breeze wafting in the opposite direction.Is it just me, or did this years event seem a bit of a limp balloon compared to previous years? Pulp, for example, headlining after not bothering the charts for a decade or more. There doesn't seem to have been the buzz of anticipation either.There have been lots of discussions this summer that there are simply too many festivals - practically at least one every weekend and that the available talent / funds are being stretched too far.

Very much Davey - apart from the initial Thursday surge of extrememly clean (and uncannily polite) visitors in Tesco and the loud first day, hardly knew much was afoot! Slight correction there, having tried to reach Seacroft at lunchtime - seems the same attention is not given after the event as to before in avoiding congestion to lcal traffic and residents - chocka on the A64/6120!
